Bouldering

Climbing without rope & harness

You will find several of these "naturally grown climbing areas", which offer routes for all levels of difficulty for beginners and professionals, in the Mayrhofen-Hippach Holiday Region. As the climbing areas are all on private property, considerate behaviour (waste disposal, noise prevention, use of designated parking spaces,...) are basic prerequisites for ensuring access to the climbing area in the future. Necessary equipment: climbing shoes, magnesia sack, boulder mats, brushes (to clean grips and shoes), tape bandage (to prevent or treat minor injuries).

Climbing without rope or harness on boulders and rock faces enjoys great popularity in the Zillertal
