Skiclub Mayrhofen
Description
The Ski Club Mayrhofen, at that time "Wintersportverein für Mayrhofen und Umgebung", was founded on March 25, 1924 in the inn "Alte Post".

At the founding meeting, it was decided to build a ski jump (Hausererschanze). In addition, the construction of an ice skating rink and a rink for ice shooting was considered. In 1931 the ski team of the winter sports club built the ski hut on the Penken, at that time with a monopitch roof. From 1946 to 1948 the ski hut on the Penken was rebuilt and since then it presents itself in the familiar image with a gable roof.
