Kasseler Hütte 2178m - Stilluptal
Description
The Kasseler Hütte is located at the end of the beautiful, rustic, narrow Stillupp valley at an altitude of 2177 metres. The direct route to the Kasseler Hütte takes you along the Stilluppbach stream and the long Stillupp reservoir. From here or directly from Mayrhofen, you can take a minibus to the end of the valley to the Grüne Wand Hütte or alternatively ride your e-bike to the valley station of our goods cable car. After about 2-3 hours of walking through forest, meadows and over some rocky sections, you will have reached your destination. There we, Lukas and Anna with the rest of the team, will welcome you in an open, friendly environment with a small but good Tyrolean kitchen. With the Kasseler Hütte as your starting point or base, you have great opportunities for high-altitude, - or summit tours such as:
the Zillertaler Runde/ Berliner Höhenweg
the Ahntal smugglers' trail
the Kassel route to South Tyrol
the climbing garden
the via ferrata
Good opportunities for alpine tours,
