PISTENBOCK TOBOGGAN FUN
Description
If you feel like taking a break from skiing or just want to spend a day on Mount Ahorn without ski or snowboard equipment, you should try taking a ride on a PistenBock sled for some great toboggan fun. On a specially designed course separated off from the other pistes you’ll adjust your helmet, hang on tight, and tackle the turns. Practice makes perfect - you’re definitely going to want to go at it more than once.
- Children: 2010 – 2018. Children from the age of 5 can ride the toboggan run independently, but this is not recommended.
- Wearing a helmet is mandatory. Helmets can be borrowed free of charge.
- The PistenBock track is a designated, enclosed track near the Ahorn practice lift on the Ahorn Plateau, approximately 200 meters from the WhiteLounge SchneeBar, next to the starting point of the FunRide Ahorn. The track is 700 to 800 meters long.
- Since the PistenBock track is a separate attraction and not part of regular ski operations, existing lift passes (day passes, ski passes, season tickets) are not valid. Payment is only possible on-site in cash or online.
- There are 5 single-seater, 5 double-seater, and 2 children's versions of the toboggan available. The track is exclusively for PistenBock sleds; personal sleds or sliding plates are not permitted for safety reasons.
- The rental duration is based on the required ride time. A single ride takes approximately 20 minutes, while three rides take about one hour, including rental processing and lift rides. The 8SB Ahorn lift takes riders back to the WhiteLounge SnowBar.
- PistenBocks can be rented based on availability and until 03.00 p.m. Reservations are not possible.
- The PistenBock experience does not include an ascent and descent ticket for the Ahornbahn cable car, which must be purchased separately.
- The use of ski boots is permitted.
- Sleds, sliding plates, or similar equipment are NOT permitted on the slopes of Mount Ahorn and Penken.
- Weather-related restrictions may occur. Please check the current status of the facilities in advance to avoid unnecessary travel.
- Please bring the signed rules of conduct with you to the rental station.
