New Year's horse racing on snow
Description
The New Year's horse race will take place on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025. The strongest harness racing drivers and riders will once again compete with their fast horses in Mayrhofen.
Program:
- 12:30 pm: Procession of the horse-drawn carriage from the Fehlehof Aschau with the guests of honor from the Gasthaus Brücke to the racecourse, accompanied by the Bundesmusikkapelle Mayrhofen and the standard with the riders from the Noriker Verein Zillertal.
- 13:00: Start of the horse races
The racecourse is located below the IQ petrol station, Mayrhofen, traffic circle entrance north.
The following races will be held:
- 4 trotting races
- 1 gallop race
Entrance fee: € 7,00
Road closures:
On Wednesday, January 01, 2025, the following route in the municipal area of Mayrhofen will be closed from 12:00 to 17:00 hrs:
- Municipal road “Laubichl” between the municipal road north entrance and the house Laubichl No. 136
- Municipal road “Laubichl” between the house Laubichl No. 136 to the intersection with the L - 330 Brandbergstraße (access to Laubichl remains excluded)
Food and drink will be provided. Dog owners are requested to keep their four-legged friends on a leash. No liability is accepted for accidents.
