Guided snowshoe hike at Ginzling Winter-Magic

What could be more beautiful than hiking through a snow-covered landscape? At Winterzauber Ginzling, a guided snowshoe hike to the Zemmgrund is offered every Tuesday and Thursday.

What to expect: The tour leads into the deep snowy natural landscape of the Zemmgrund and is an excellent way to leave the stress of everyday life behind. We meet at the Europahaus in Mayrhofen and take a cab together to the Naturparkhaus, where we pick up our snowshoes and poles. We then continue on to Gasthof Breitlahner. After a short introduction by the nature park guide, we start our leisurely snowshoe hike into the Zemmgrund. Back we go again by cab to the Europahaus.

What to bring:

• Warm clothes for the weather, gloves, hat as well as sunglasses

• Sturdy mountain boots or sporty winter boots (waterproof)

• warm thirst quencher

• Time

General: duration is about 5 hours (walking time approx. 2 hours, 200 meters of altitude). Not suitable for children under 8 years of age. 

Sticks and snowshoes can be rented for 6,00 € per person.

Meeting point: Europahaus Mayrhofen 10:00 a.m.

Return journey: approx. 02.00 p.m. - 03.00 p.m. depending on the weather

Important information:

Due to winter conditions on this route, transportation will be provided exclusively by cab from the provider. Please do not bring dogs with you.

Additional cab costs: 22,00€ per person (Europahaus - Breitlahner there & back) - payment cash on site in the cab
